Fashion test shoot with Jake

I spotted Jake on another models instagram post (thanks Eto!) Whilst a lot of my book at the moment is women, I'm working on building up the mens side of my practice so I can have what feels to me to be a good balance. I know some people like to really focus on being womenswear or menswear photographers and I did think once that I would focus just on guys and leave the womens side of my book to just a select few. However ultimately I'm interested in people and I don't want to be driven by gender.

So a cold day but a good day. I was going to shoot in the studio but the weather was one of those stop start rain days so we ventured outside. Most of the clothing in this shoot is vintage/second hand. This remains an important part of my work as I explore both nostalgia and sustainable fashion. I styled this myself which means yes there as not one, not two but three glorious 70s collars...current obsession...
